How can I use Google Translate to scan and translate text

Open the Google Translate app on your phone.

Tap the Camera button, which is located beneath the text box near the bottom of the screen.

If the language you want to translate to is not yet on your phone, you will need to download it from the dropdown menu.

Tap the Scan icon to open your camera view.

Point your camera at the text you want to translate.

The translated text will appear on the screen.

To translate text within an image, follow these steps:

On your browser, go to Google Translate.

At the top, select the Images tab.

Choose the language that you want to translate to and from.

Click Browse your computer to select the image that you want to translate.

The translated text will appear on the screen.

Google Translate supports over 100 languages, including Arabic, Hindi, Malay, Thai, and Vietnamese. You can translate text from an image you've already captured or from what you find through your camera. To translate documents and websites, go to Google Translate and click Documents. Choose the languages to translate to and from, select the file you want to translate, and click Translate. The translated document will be downloaded to your computer.
